How can I block people from joining my public chat room?

Public chat room is open to public. In other words, anyone with knowledge of a public chat room name can join that room and view all messages previously sent in the chat room.
There is no option to block others from joining a public chat room however, you should pick a name for your public chat room that is not easy to guess and you should share your public chat room name with only the people you want to join your chat room.
Can I create both public and private chat rooms?

Why didn't Chatroom sign in work?

Sign in to Never Finite Chatroom may not have worked due to a number of reasons, but please check your internet connection is working and that you entered your Google account user name and password correctly.
How can I view who is typing in a chat room?

When people are typing, Never Finite Chatroom shows the number of people typing at the bottom of the screen. Click here for an example
To see the names of people who are typing, simply click on the up arrow icon. This will show the names of people who are typing. Click here for an example
How can I view who is online?

1. On a computer, the names of people in a chat room are shown in a pane on the right side of the screen. The online status of each person is indicated next to the name. Click here for an example

What can I do if a picture I am trying to send is not going through?

There is a 5 MB file size limit for pictures, which means a picture will not be sent if its file size exceeds this limit. Please ensure the file size of the picture you are trying to send is within the file size limit.
How can I find out when a message was sent?

To find out when a message was sent (message time stamp), simply long press the message if you are on mobile or hover over the message if you are on a computer. The date and time will be shown for the message. Click here for an illustration
Where is the current chat room in the list?

Current chat room is the one in which you are currently chatting. A chat room which you have selected to chat in is always moved to the top of the chat rooms list and it is shown as the first entry in the chat rooms list. Click here for an example
Where is the notification bell icon?

Notification bell icon is shown only when someone sends you an invite to join their private chat room. It is shown next to your profile icon in the top right of the chat window.
If you don’t see the notification bell icon, please confirm an invite for a private chat room was sent to you. Please note that sometimes it may take more time than usual for the invite to be delivered.
That said, please reload (refresh) the page in the browser and the notification bell icon will immediately show if there are any invites pending to be accepted or declined.
How can I delete a chat room?

How can I change my greeting?

To change your greeting, click on your profile icon in the top right of the window. In the pop up window, click on “Edit” and type your new greeting. Click “Confirm” after you are done. Click here for an illustration
Why I cannot sign in to Never Finite Chatroom using my Yahoo or Microsoft account?

Currently, you can sign in to Never Finite Chatroom using your Google account only. As part of our efforts to improve Never Finite Chatroom and enhance user experience, we will rollout updates in the future including the ability to sign in using Yahoo and Microsoft accounts.
